Huj. Shahriari hails boosting relations with neighbors as Iran’s perfect strategy

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his speech at the meeting of the scholars and religious figures in Kurdistan province on Wednesday noted that Iran’s Kurdistan province should follow interaction with Iraqi Kurdistan region as a new strategy, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said the economic opportunities in border regions and shift its security approach to economic view.

The cleric slammed the western countries, especially the US, for intervention in Afghanistan during the past two decades, the reason why Afghanistan has not been able to form an independent government saying,” The first achievement of an independent government is security.”

He warned,” Kurdistan has always been a target for intrigues though the people have constantly resisted and made sacrifices to foil these plots.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari added,” People have supported the government in all arenas. They departed for the fronts at the wartime and resisted against enemies when at peace and did not let enemies undermine their solidarity as the people in Kurdistan have protected the borders during the past four decades.”

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought warned,” Enemies have changed their strategy of assassination of individuals to killing the minds and ideologies” We should array against the enemies with media in order to win the enemies in soft warfare.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari made the comments in a meeting of the religious figures, seminary elites in Kurdistan province.
