Supreme Leader calls Palestine as major scale for unity
The Leader, in a meeting with Iranian government officials and participants to the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference called Islamic unity a fundamental issue and a Qur'anic obligation stressing that materialization of a new Islamic civilization is impossible without Shia Sunni unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The Leader said," Since past, world powers have insisted on introducing Islam not as a comprehensive religious which has a program for all aspects of human life but to confine it in the individual behaviors and beliefs in an effort to theorize it from the view point of the writers and intellectuals and persuade others that Islam is neither a theoretical reference nor a practical guideline for important issues including "building civilizations and management of societies", "economy and power sharing", "war and peace", "domestic and international diplomacy" and also "establishment of justice and confrontation with oppression and rebels."

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed regret over the efforts by the United States and its pawns to hatch plots across the world of Islam and noted the recent tragic explosions in Afghanistan mosques as instances of such measures taken by Daesh while Americans had explicitly admitted that they masterminded Daesh terrorist group.

Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution noted that the annual Islamic unity conventions would not suffice and called for more studies, discussions and permanent schedules to pursue that.
