Greece professor of theology referred to the diversity and difference among people as part of the system of existence in part of his speech addressing the webinar on the first day of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference (TNA).

"We have witnessed praiseworthy scientific differences throughout the history of Islam; Disagreements that not only never hit the principles of religion" said the Muslim scholar and added, "But on the contrary, have provided the basis for scientific progress and the promotion of various schools of thought."

He noted that the "etiquette of discord" existed in the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and his dear companions.

According to the Greece professor the religion of Islam was presented to humanity to settle this dispute and set the rules and regulations for it.

He stressed that the current differences seem to have nothing to do with the "difference of views", which is a tradition in the universe saying," The differences are formed only around the acquisition of interests and benefits."

Yashar Sharif Damad Oglu said," The companions of the Prophet (PBUH) sometimes differed in their points of view however, the differences between them were not only a factor in creating divisions between them, but also led them to unity, because the closeness of their hearts to each other and the level of goals they pursued were far beyond being a blow to their unity."

He highlighted importance of dialogue in settling
disagreements and said, "Fruitful dialogue can lead to the strengthening of unity between Muslims and Islamic communities" and stressed that Muslims should use the best words and refrain from swearing.
