Palestinian speaker calls Muslim nations to confront normalization

Ahmad Bahr, speaker of Palestinian legislative assembly, attended the webinar on the first day of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference held on Tuesday calling on Muslim countries to unitedly confront normalization of relations with Israeli regime.

Palestinian diplomat expressed gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Supreme Leader for sparing no effort in supporting the Palestinian resistance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to instances which boosted solidarity among Palestinian nation and said, "Examples of those victories include the results and achievements of Operation Seif ul-Quds (Sword of Quds), which was crystallized by creating unity among the Palestinians under the banner of defending Quds, the Holy places and sanctities."
 
Ahmad Bahr warned that Islamic nation is in need of solidarity more than anything else in the face of the plague of the Zionist regime, a regime that threatens the values, interests and survival of the Muslim Ummah.
 
Ahmad Bahr expressed hope for legal formation of a strong
Arab-Islamic movement in international and regional circles in order to condemn the war crimes and crimes committed by Israel against our nation and the Islamic Ummah.
 
"There is no way to get rid of this pollution and rebellion except through creation of a comprehensive unity among Muslim nations; and this is where the importance of the International Conference on Islamic Unity comes into playing an important role" he said reiterating the role of annual Islamic event held by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
 
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the 35th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference for October 19-24 ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) also known as the Islamic Unity Week.
 
More than 500 Muslim scholars, intellectuals and religious figures are attending the 35th edition of Islamic Unity Conference which is held virtually due to COVID-19 circumstances. World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has decided to hold the 35th event on the theme of "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam."
