Two journalists have lost their lives and 21 others injured as bus collided on the way back from a trip to Lake Urmia in the Iranian northeastern city of Urmia.

Taqrib News Agency (TNA) and a number of other news agencies have issued separate messages on Thursday to express condolences over death of two young journalists, Mahshad Karimi and Reyhaneh Yassini.
 
25 environmen journalists from across the country were invited to visit the plans to revive Lake Urmia as their bus collided near Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan.

 
21 journalists were also injured in this accident which happened in the evening on Wednesday as bus carrying them collided between East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan province in Iran.
 
Mahshad Karimi and Reyhaneh Yassini were part of the crew in Iranian well known news agencies Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA).
