Saudi Arabia targeting mosques during war on Yemen

Saudi coalition has reportedly targeted more than 303 mosques in Sa'ada during years of aggression against the impoverished Arab country.

Lutf al-Awawi, director of Awqaf (endowment) in Sa'ada Province has denounced Saudi Arabia for destroying 303 mosques in Yemen during six years of attack against the country, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," Al Saud regime has totally destroyed 59 mosques and partially damaged more than 244 mosques in Yemen."
 
According to the Yemeni Awqaf official part of Saudi attacks aimed border areas in order to prevent reconstruction or continuation of the operations by engineers.
 
He slammed Al Saud regimes for destruction of Awqaf headquarter in Sa'ada inflicting many damages to the office.
 
Al Awawi noted that ignoring the sanctity of holy sites and deliberate targeting religious places is far from values in all religions.
