“Int’l Quds day, time to boost Islamic solidarity”, cleric

Representative of Iran’s Lorestan Province in the Assembly of Experts stressed importance of the International Quds Day and that it’s high capacity to boost Islamic solidarity.

Ayatollah Ahmad Moballeghi, senior cleric and representative of Lorestan Province has issued a message on the eve of the International Quds Day stressing that the International Quds day has key importance since it belongs to the history and world of Islam and can actively function in line with boosting unity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Quds Day is important since it has gained historical importance and that it playing a key role in the history and literature of Islam.”
 
The cleric noted that Quds belongs to all Muslims and that Muslims cannot be reluctant to the fate of Jerusalem al-Quds due to its importance in the history of Islam.
 
According to Ayatollah Moballeghi the International Quds Day is based on three axes: holiness of Quds, support for oppressed Palestinian nation and unity of Islamic nation.
 
He called on the people to mark the International Quds Day in reaction to the call by late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic.
