Spanish thinkers mark martyrdom anniv. Gen. Soleimani

A group of Spanish thinkers have issued a statement to voice solidarity with the Iranian nation on martyrdom anniversary of assassinated IRGC commander, General Qassem Soleimani.


Carlos Paz and Mohsin Bilal, two Spanish media activists have submitted a message signed by a group of university professors and elites to Iran's cultural attaché in Madrid on the first martyrdom anniversary of senior counter-terrorism commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force, General Soleimani, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The message which is addressed to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Iranian nation is signed by different groups, elites and university professors expressing gratitude for the Islamic Republic as the frontline of resistance amid the crisis-hit Middle East region.
 
"We are fully aware that the Islamic Republic- in contrast with the western propaganda is not a supporter of terrorism rather it has been in constant confrontation with the plague" read part of the message.
 
Spanish thinkers in this message stressed the unforgettable role of General Soleimani in in organization of resistance movements in the region and standing against the alliance of "deception and reconciliation."
 
They hailed the senior counter-terrorism commander for his brevity, insight and tactfulness in fighting against arrogant powers and achieving great victories for the resistance movement and counted defeat of Daesh terrorist group as an instance of these achievements.
 
Spanish thinkers in this message lauded General Soleimani for setting an example of fight against terrorism and occupation both during his life and in his martyrdom noting that," From this viewpoint General Soleimani is a culture and a school of thought because his lifestyle is assimilated to a library of resistance culture."
