Egyptian mufti urges int’l community to halt Judaization of al-Quds

Top Egyptian mufti has called on the international bodies, world liberal nations to support Palestinian nations, revival of Palestinians’ rights and establishment of Palestine with al-Quds as its capital.

Shawki Allam, senior Egyptian mufti, in his Sunday remarks on Day of Solidarity with Palestine stressed necessity of immediate interventions to end Israeli violations against al-Quds, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He called on the Muslim and Arab world, international organizations and their affiliate institutes particularly United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for immediate halt of Israeli plans which count as serious threat for al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied al-Quds.
 
Egyptian mufti said,” Our first challenge is accurate understanding of the issue” and added,” Al-Quds should revive its status in our minds and Islamic and Arab culture through educational and cultural programs.”
 
He warned of Israeli plots for Judaization of occupied al-Quds and the Palestinian lands and urged for informing the younger generation on origins of the Palestine issue so that they never withdraw from their legal rights.
