Ayatollah Taskhiri, true role model of Islamic unity

Religious figures, intellectuals lauded Iran’s late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri as true manifest of Islamic unity, in an online meeting held by Organization of Hajj and pilgrimage in collaboration with international deputy of seminaries and Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly on Wednesday.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdul Fattah Navvab, representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs in this meeting quoted the Leader calling late Ayatollah Taskhiri as assiduous clergy and expressive voice of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought as a true follower of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and highlighted the good manners in Ayatollah Taskhiri.
 
Ali Erbas, president of Directorate of Religious Affairs from Turkey in a message addressing the meeting highlighted the high character of the late advisor of Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Taskhiri and referred to the global popularity of the late scholar over his efforts to promote Islam.
 
Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun, grand mufti of Syria called Ayatollah Taskhiri a scholar who carried the flag of Islam based on his love for the holy religion. He hailed the brevity and patience in the late Iranian cleric and said,” Ayatollah Taskhiri followed the example of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in commitment to Islam and promoting solidarity among Muslims.”
 
Sheikh Khalid al-Mal’a, head of the society of Iraqi scholars noted the role of Ayatollah Taskhiri in settling the sectarian drifts in Iraq and hailed the late cleric for proposing unity in Iraqi television programs and conferences.
 
He said,” Ayatollah Taskhiri spoke the language of Islam and was a practical person who turned theories into reality.”
 
Khalid al-Mal’a called late Ayatollah Taskhiri as true legend of Islamic unity and expressed regret over the loss of top Iranian cleric amid the worst plots against the holy religion of Islam.
 
Allameh Raja Nassir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Wahdat Muslimeen in Pakistan, Emad eddin Hamrouni, director of Ahlul Bayt (AS) institute in Paris, Oguzhan Asilturk, head of Turkey’s Sa’adat Party and Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Aftab Rizvi, director of Ahlul Bayt (AS) center in Cape Town were the other participants in this meeting.
