Iran holds India regional webinar on challenges of Muslim world amid pandemic

A number of prominent religious and cultural figures from India have discussed the "Opportunities ahead of Muslim World for Islamic Unity amid pandemic diseases" on the third day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference held by Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

Sheikh Mohammad Ali Farooqi, head of the Muslim Reform Dar Al-Ulum, in his speech at the webinar expressed concern over the dispersion in Muslim world, unusual since four centuries ago, censuring countries who have submitted to US bullying, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed Islamic Republic of Iran for standing against US sanctions and challenging Washington.
 
Khizr Hayat Khan, manager of Islamic Bank's hospital from Bangladesh referred to the difficult circumstances of the new coronavirus and highlighted Islamic recommendations on necessity of helping each other in hard times.
 
He stressed that a united Islamic nation will solve the current issues and inform the people on ways to decrease repercussions of the pandemic infection.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Fayyaz Baqer, secretary general of association of Shia scholars and orators in Maharashtra highlighted solidarity as the most important necessity for Muslim world and warned of annihilation if unity does not exist among Muslims.
 
He added," Once a Muslim pursues the path of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), no power in the world can prevent his success."
 
Indian top cleric noted that if unity prevailed in the world of Islam, none of the present issues would trouble Muslims.
 
 Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Sadiq Husseini, prominent Indian orator, Sami-ullah Husseini Bandehnavazi, legal counsellor of sufi group in India, Taha Mozmal, media activist from association of freelance media in southern Asia were among other lecturers in this webinar.
 
34th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters" has been scheduled to be held virtually by Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
 
The online meetings has been held on October 29th-November 3rd as 350 Muslim intellectuals and thinkers will give lecture and exchange views on the ways for cooperation and solidarity of Muslims amid the pandemic infection.
