Unity, Islamic fraternity, sole ways out of calamities

Molavi Khodadad Saleh, head of the scholars' council of Afghanistan in comments made on the third day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference held online due to the new coronavirus pandemic stressed solidarity, fraternity and virtues as the only rescue from the current calamities in the world.

Molavi Khodadad Saleh called on world Muslims to follow the commands of the Almighty God to foil plots to promote religious and sectarian division among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
A group of Afghan thinkers and religious attended the webinar on Afghanistan regional issues held on the third day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters."
 
Hussein Seyyed Fadhel Sancharaki, former media deputy of Ministry of Information and Culture in his speech called Islam as the religion of humanity as well as cleanness and sanity.
 
He said the importance of Islamic recommendations on principles of personal healthcare and sanity has come to more focus during the coronavirus outbreak revealing the secrets to boundlessness of Islamic teachings.
 
Afghan intellectual noted that the public knowledge of religious teachings on ways to combat the new coronavirus should increase saying," One way for that is the morale of compassion and unity among all Muslims."
 
Molavi Mohammad Mokhtar Mofleh, head of Islamic Movement of Afghanistan, Halimeh Hosseini, director of Ashianeh Javan Foundation and Mohammad Esmaeel Haghani, professor of  Alghias University in Herat were among other lecturers in this webinar on the regional issues of Afghanistan as part of the online meetings of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference.
 
The annual event has been held virtually this year due to the new coronavirus pandemic as more than 350 Muslim scholars from across the globe will deliver speech and exchange views on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters."
