“Arrogant powers show fake image of Islam”, Huj. Shahriari
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in an interview televised on Iran’s state television detailed his views on the reasons behind Islamophobic movements across the globe stressing that the resistance Islam has turned into a threat for the US and Israeli regime.

Top cleric in this interview conducted on the first day of the Islamic Unity Conference noted that the true Islam, introduced by late Imam Khomeini (RA) and Islamic Revolution has turned to a threat for the arrogant powers and capitalist system which owns 80 per cent of the wealth and that is the reason they have projected a fake image of Islam to justify Islamophobia as a movement against violent Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” This power of individuals across the globe has created a great fear in world arrogant powers who endeavor to show a fake image of Islam in order to justify Islamophobia as a move against violent Islam like Daesh and Qaeda” and added,” In fact the extremist Islamophobes are brainchildren of world arrogant powers who have created, empowered and supported Daesh in Iraq and Syria.”
The cleric called extremism as a serious pursuit of the world arrogant powers though we try to confront them in soft movements.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari referred to the assassinated commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani who defeated Daesh terrorists and said,” We are an organization in charge of making soft moves and should produce a discourse to show the appeals of true Islam brought by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and unite under that faith.”
Top cleric related on the ways to prevent continuation of Daesh ideology stressing that one should promoted knowledge in the Islamic society, a mission upon soft warfare.
Secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought also touched upon normalization of ties between some Arab states and Israeli regime saying,” Following WWII some Muslim rulers allied with the world arrogant powers and began secret ties with them; therefore, what you witness at present is in fact the uncovering of the covered ties which existed since long.”
According to the senior cleric normalization of ties is not a serious issue because it is merely uncoverd ties which existed since long time ago, though it should be criticized by the world of Islam.
