Ayatollah Taskhiri, Shia cleric with command of Sunni Fiq'h

Head of Iran's Organization of Culture and Islamic Communications, Ebrahimi Torkaman lauded the late Shia scholar and advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri as a defender of Islam and Ahlul Bayt (AS) in the international community.


On the eve of the 40th day after demise of the prominent proximity figure from Iran, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, top cultural figure, Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, hailed the late scholar over his perfect command of Sunni fiq'h, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," Late Ayatollah Taskhiri had two tools for promoting interfaith dialogue and defending Islam and Ahlul Bayt (AS) in the international gatherings: vast knowledge and command of Arab literature."
 
Top Iranian cultural official hailed the struggles of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri for promoting Islamic teachings and his use of proximity details in conducting interfaith dialogues.
 
"We should note that if Muslims are divided, they cannot stand against their enemies, said Ebrahimi Torkaman and stressed necessity of believing in righteousness of Islamic proximity as the means to continue the path of Ayatollah Taskhiri.

Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri (1944-2020) was the former secretary of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought who had spent more than five decades of his life for promoting Islamic teachings and solidarity of Muslims.
