Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari warned of Israeli plan for annexation of the West Bank and parts of Jordan Valley and said announcing the scholars' stance against the plan as part of efforts to enlighten the public mind is quite important.
 
Sheikh Abdul-Qader al-Alousi announced readiness for cooperation with the annual Islamic Unity Conference held by Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and expressed hope for implementation of the results achieved in the event.
