Top Iranian diploamt, Iraqi PM Meet in Baghdad

Zarif, who arrived in Baghdad on Sunday morning, held talks with the Iraqi prime minister, who took office in May.
In their talks, held in a private and a plenary meeting, Zarif and Kadhimi discussed the latest developments in Tehran-Baghdad bilateral ties, the Iraqi premier’s upcoming visit to Iran, and major regional and international issues.
The top Iranian diplomat has visited Baghdad to make arrangements for Kadhimi’s Tuesday trip to Tehran, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Zarif is going to visit Erbil in the afternoon at the invitation of President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani.
