Islamic proximity, right path leading to unity, coordination
Mamusta Mohammad Amin Rasti, interim Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on Islamic proximity as a path eventually leading to unity and coordination alluding to the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei.

He said,” We do not find disagreement on the ideological issues among Muslims naming monotheism, the day of judgment, prayers, Hajj and other Islamic principals though minor differences are quite natural though it does not translate to disagreement or division but provides the grounds for study, ponder and transcend.”

Top Sunni cleric stressed,” Enemies of Islam have exaggerated the Muslim issues and are in pursuit of sparking division in a bid to prevent unity among Muslims.”

“Once Muslims are united, enemies in constant struggle to divide Muslims following the strategy of “divide and conquer” will face failure” said Mamusta Amin Rasti.

He added,” Enemies masterminded Daesh, Taliban, British-style Shia and American-style Sunni to block the way towards Islamic unity and dominate the Islamic nation” and called on Muslims to unite and return to their principles.

Top cleric also referred to historical fatwa by the Supreme Leader banning desecration of Sunni sanctities urging Muslims to follow the guidelines of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader in an effort to maintain solidarity in the world of Islam.

He also lauded the struggles by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and the achievements made to boost unity among Muslims.
