Muslims to launch unified front against British-style Shia
Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, director of Iran seminaries attended a meeting on role of Shia seminaries on protection and promotion of loyalty to Ahlul Bayt (AS), held in New Delhi highlighting importance of unity between the people and scholars from Shia and Sunni communities and the ways to introduce Ahlul Bayt (AS) to world people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” To build and promote relation between Shia and Sunni schools and scholars is quite important.”

The cleric warned of British-style Shia which blocks the way for cooperation with Muslim communities across the globe and said,” This is not the style with Ahlul Bayt (AS) and will create issues for both Islamic denominations.”

Ayatollah A’rafi added,” The accurate path is that Shia should maintain its beliefs meanwhile build friendly interaction with Sunni brothers and also keep serious attention on this cooperation.”

On the eve of the 41st anniversary of Islamic Revolution in Iran, the cleric also said,” To avoid sectarian conflict has been a motto of Islam and Islamic Revolution and we do not approve any conflict between religions and denominations in any part of the world.”

Top Iranian cleric stressed that modern technologies should serve religious efforts and hailed the holy city of Qom as a pioneer in hiring the modern technologies for Islamic studies.
