Hamidreza Gholamzadeh, Iranian political commentator on US affairs in an interview with Taqrib News explained his views on US threats against European economy as leverage to impose more pressure on Iran naming that the reason for activation of trigger mechanism.

He referred to Washington’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with European countries inaction to save the deal as their present argues on trigger mechanism in line with Washington’s policy of maximum pressure.
 
Iranian political commentator also touched upon a last week report by Washington Post regarding the US threats of boycott and tariff to be imposed against European countries to push them towards activation of the process.
 
“The United States and European countries have planned various leverages against JCPOA” he said and added,” This has all been ineffective on our economy for the past one and half year and the market is numb to more pressure.”
 
Hamidreza Gholamzadeh said,” Donald Trump claimed to impose the heaviest pressure against Iran though the ineffectiveness of his threats has led to confessions on failure of the so-called maximum pressure.”
 
The commentator called JCPOA as the proof for righteousness of Iran’s stance and illogicality of the United States stressing that the Islamic Republic should firmly maintain its stance in regards to the historical nuclear agreement.
