Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in a meeting with Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, vowed to follow in the footsteps of Islamic unity pioneers and prevent intrigue by world arrogant powers.

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with a number of jurisprudents on the first leg of his meetings with prominent religious figures following his appointment as the director of Iran’s major Islamic unity center, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric expressed hope to follow in the footsteps of Islamic unity forerunners and that the plots hatched by world arrogant powers are foiled.
 
Ayatollah Noori Hamedani in this meeting called on Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari expands the relations between the world forum and religious figures across the world of Islam.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari was appointed as the secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, major center in charge of promoting solidarity among different Islamic denominations, in a decree by the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic in mid December 2019.
