The Arabic term “Inshallah,” meaning “If God wills it,” generally used by Muslims across the world has entered the German dictionary.
It was published on the website of Duden, a dictionary of the German language since 1880, as “God willingly; an expression related to a future event in the Muslim world.”
A statement hasn’t yet been made on whether Inshallah would take place in the printed version of the Duden dictionary.
