“Iran, flag bearer of Islamic unity”, top official

ISESCO director, Salim bin Mohammad al-Malik has called for introduction of true Islam to world people expressing hope that the objective is achieved through constructive cooperation with Islamic Republic of Iran.

Director of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) met with Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, head of Iran’s Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication calling endeavors of Islamic Republic for boosting solidarity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He counted efforts to materialize Islamic unity and avoiding division as the key necessities of Muslim world and said,” Despite efforts of enemies to disperse Muslims, Iran has maintained efforts to call for solidarity among Muslims and has taken effective measures for that end.”
 
Iranian official referred to different political tending among countries and underlined common cultural views as the linking ring among all Muslim states.
 
Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman also called for establishement of a inter-cultural dialogue center in the world of Islam within the framework of ISESCO and said,” To boost dialogue among Muslims is a top priority of the modern era and ISESCO can play a key role for that objective.”
 
He vowed Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation with ISESCO.
