Senior Egyptian mufti has warned of Zionist regime threats against al-Aqsa Mosque calling on the international community to prevent Israeli aggression against the holy site.

Shawki Allam, prominent Egyptian mufti, has issued a message calling on the Muslim world, all UN-affiliated groups to halt the Zionist plans which may threat al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied lands, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Egyptian cleric in this message issued on the day for solidarity with Palestinian nation demanded for immediate intervention of the regional and international bodies to end Israeli intrusion into the al-Quds and Islamic holy sites.
 
He warned of the Zionist plans threatening the holy mosque and urged the Islamic and Arab world as well as the UN institutions particularly UNESCO for immediate halt of the the occupied Quds city and holy mosque.
 
Shawki Allam also condemned continuation of Zionist plots for Judaisation of the holy city and Palestinian lands and elimination of its true identity.
