Shia, Sunni Muslims join hands to foil plots through Arba’een march

Participation of the Sunni Muslims in the great march of Arba’een will certainly foil hostile intrigues against Islam.
Shia, Sunni Muslims join hands to foil plots through Arba’een march
The great march of Arba’een does not merely lure the Shia community as the minority Sunni Muslims in Iran reportedly pay tribute to the third Shia Imam taking the long walking tour to the holy city of Karbala before Arba’een, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Arba’een march has never been meant to be translated to Shia community’s show of force against other denominations rather a show of determination against world oppressive powers and a call for solidarity.

Sunni Muslims have reportedly shown a more active participation in the annual event as several instances of the Sunni men and women joining the great march of Arba’een have drawn much appreciation for a move towards Islamic unity.

“We are going to join each other in a bid to discourage enemies of Islam” said a Sunni participant calling for more vigilance against hostile plots against all Muslims.

He said,” Enemies are targeting fraternal ties between Muslims and we will prove the pinnacles of our solidarity in the great march of Arba’een.”

Arba’een is the 40th day after martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) who rose against the tyrant ruler of his time, Yazid ibn-Muawiyah and martyred in the Battle of Karbala along with 72 of his companions and household members.
