Ayatollah Araki on Islamic proximity:

“Monotheism leads to coexistence amongst us”

Current division, dispersion, war, disagreement and clashes bring a misunderstanding of monotheism.
“Monotheism leads to coexistence amongst us”
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in a new note on Islamic proximity focused on monotheism and unity based on the Almighty God, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The cleric in his note referred to diversity of gods as reason for division, clashes and war among people.

He said,” Unity based on the Almighty God protects people from fake gods and based on that the hearts, feelings and objectives will join each other.”

The cleric added,” Almighty God has made the Muslim nation firm as a fort, only with monotheism, and saved us from dispersion, division, prejudices and other restrictions.”

According to Ayatollah Araki the objectives of this fort will fulfill only when an Imam leads the society throughout the hardships.

“We have witnessed historical instances for those who called out their support for unity though they shed blood and committed crimes on earth”, he said.

He slammed the Daesh terrorists and their allies are masterminded only to spread corruption, tarnish the image of Islam and deface Muslims across the globe.

He noted,” All orthodox Muslims find monotheism as number one principle in Islam and once Muslims depend upon that in addition to holy Qur’an and guidelines of Ahlul Bayt (AS) they turn into a unified Islamic nation.”

The cleric stressed,” Muslims should unify and help each other in stemming intrigues and also confrontation with challenges.”

Ayatollah Mohsen araki made the comments in continuation of his articles and notes on Islamic proximity.
