Hujjat-ul-Islam Ali Asqar Ohadi, senior Iranian cleric attended the weekly meetings on Islamic proximity and related on inspiration behind the idea due to a religious necessity calling that the foundation to achieve Islamic unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He warned of efforts to divide Muslims and noted,” Division is the means to annihilation of Islam and counted tendency for the west, Arabic nationalism and confrontation with Hijab as cultural division hatched through the history of Islam.
Advisor for secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stressed,” Islamic awakening is in fact the grounds for proximity and a call for political Islam which is much abhorred by the west” and referred to return of the Islamic nation to their identity back in the early days of the religion.”
He warned of disagreement as a serious threat named in the holy Qur’an which will weaken and finally defeat Muslims and said,” The entire effort of arrogant powers is to divide Islamic nation and for the same objective it accuses Shia Muslims under fake pretexts.
According to the cleric proximity with the meaning of rejection of conflicts which brings defeat for the world of Islam.
He highlighted importance of proximity and its advocates as the world of Islam is challenged by enemies who spreads wrong interpretation of the Islamic concepts and is facilitated by the most powerful media.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ali Asqar Ohadi warned,” Enemies intend to introduce a fake version of Islam” warning of Daesh and Qaeda terrorist groups as brainchildren of enemies to frighten the public with Islam and loot resources in Muslim countries.
