Iranian scholars in this statement expressed concern over the deteriorating health situation of the Nigerian leader in prison.

Part of the statement slammed the Nigerian government and military forces, backed by the United States, Zionist regime and Al-Saud for committing several illegal measures including killing Sheikh Zakzaky’s children.

It added,” Now the Nigerian government, in line with its savage behaviors is trying to beef up its pressures by poisoning the prominent cleric as the claimants of human rights across the globe have taken silence not making the least move for freedom of the Shia figure from prison.”

Iran’s Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom expressed anger over the illegal behavior of the Nigerian government with Sheikh Ibrahim al-Zakzaky saying Abuja should stand responsible for its inhuman measures.

Seminary teachers in their statement also called Nigerian government to take measures for immediate release of the 66-year-old Shia leader.
