Iranian Shia cleric admitted a group of UK-based scholars expressing regret that the Islamic Republic is targeted by hostile propaganda only due to its support for world Muslim countries.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mousa Mousavi, deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with a group of visiting Pakistani scholars from UK calling on world intellectuals to visit Iran and find the propaganda against the country as void, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric detailed the activities and objectives of major Islamic unity center in Iran, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought calling that a popular institution involving hundreds of Islamic unity activists from across the Muslim world.
 
He referred to several cultural and ideological programs held  by the world forum and highlighted launching the research center for proximity studies as a practical measure taken by the Iranian Islamic center which publishes Islamic contents commonly agreed by Shia and Sunni scholars.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mousavi warned of interpretations of Islam published out of scholarly knowledge and referred to serious confrontation with those desecrating religious sanctities in Iran.
 
“We seriously confront intriguing measures in Iran” said the cleric and underlined massive statement issued by jurisprudents banning any desecration of the Kalifs and household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
He said,” The reason for anti-Iran propaganda is its support for world Muslims, particularly Palestinian nation” stressing that the hostile move is inspired by the United States and Tel Aviv regime and called the world thinkers to visit Iran for a clearer image of the country.
