Proximity of civilizations happens only when all Islamic denominations cooperate; hence, Takfir (excommunication) led to decline of the Islamic civilization.

Farzad Jahanbin, member of the academic board at Iran’s Shahed University attended the meeting on “New Islamic Civilization in Mirror of Proximity based on Supreme Leader’s Thought” held in the Iranian capital of Tehran stressing enough time as a necessity to establish an original civilization derived from true Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the single soul of Islamic civilization materialized in a variety of tastes.
 
Member of the academic board at Shahed University added,” New Islamic civilization does not intend to revive the civilization but to update it from the version established back in 4th century not compatible with the demands of contemporary society.
 
“Proximity of civilizations materializes only when all Islamic denominations cooperate with each other” he said and added, “Therefore, wherever Takfir exists, Islamic civilization declines.”
 
He urged Muslims to held establishment and promotion of new Islamic civilization and distance from any form of religious prejudice.
 
Iranian professor made the comments in a conference on new Islamic civilization held at the University of Islamic Denominations in Tehran on June 19.
