Preventing extremist views, an objective for University of Islamic Denominations
President of major university of Islamic studies in Iran signed educational agreement with president of Syrian university stressing the objectives of the Iranian academy.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, president of the University of Islamic Denominations met with president of Syria’s Al-Sham University stressing the different Islamic countries hailing the objectives of Iranian academy welcoming the proposal to launch its branch, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” An objective of the University of Islamic Denominations is to prevent extremist view on different Islamic schools of thought and introduction of Islam to the world” lauding the academy for practicing coexistence and Islamic unity.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari referred to the Shia and Sunni scholars teaching students from different denominations as Islamic solidarity has been practiced at the University of Islamic Denominations and noted,” We are proud of holding different academic courses at the university and that the scholars lead quite friendly ties at the end of all debates.”
“Desecration of other the Islamic denominations is one of our redlines” stressed the cleric and added,” Our country is home to different schools of thought and hopefully the University of Islamic Denominations has high capacities to train Shia and Sunni managers.”
The cleric expressed hope for expansion of educational cooperation with Syria’s Al-Sham University.
