Lebanon conference to tribute pro-resistance athletes
Lebanon will be hosting international conference in July to praise the contribution of pro-resistance athletes from across the world.

Mohammad Nazemi Ardakani, deputy at Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, stressed the mission of Islamic proximity athletes’ union and said Lebanon will be hosting a ceremony to mark the athletes withdrawing from competitions with Israeli rivals in support of Palestine, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He noted union for proximity athletes was based on social and international popularity of the athletes among the youths.
Deputy at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said the upcoming conference in Lebanon will pay tribute to athletes across the globe that pulled out of competitions against rivals from the occupied Palestinian lands and sacrificed their endeavors in support of Palestinian nation.
Nazemi Ardakani said,” Cooperation with pro-resistance conference in Lebanon is the first activity by the union.”
According to the deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, a list of 60 pro-resistance athletes from across the globe has been compiled, 15 of them from the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Iranian athletes, note recognizing Tel Aviv regime, pull out of the competitions against athletes from the occupied lands in support of the Palestinian nation.
