Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the participants of the 36th International holy Quran competitions on Monday.

According to the official website of Ayatollah Khamenei's office, masters, reciters and memorizers of Quran who participated in the 36th International holy Qur’an competitions, had a meeting with the Supreme Leader.

The event was held in Tehran’s Grand Musalla Prayers Ground April 8-15.

The 6th round of students’ reciting and memorizing holy Qur’an, 3rd round of women’s memorization of the Holy Qur’an and the 4th round of reciting and memorizing Qur’an for blind people were held simultaneously with the international competitions.
