World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a statement in the wake of the US administration blacklisting of the IRGC as terrorist organization denouncing the United States for designating Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) calling that a ‘lunatic decision’ breaching all international resolutions on sovereignty of countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Part of the statement runs,” Unanticipated election of Donald Trump as the US President, shed more light on execution of the US commitments to the Zionist lobby as we witnessed fulfillment of all orders by the Zionist regime from withdrawal from JCPOA, resumption of anti-Iran sanctions, relocation of the US embassy in Jerusalem al-Quds, recognition of the holy city as Israeli capital, recognition of Tel Aviv sovereignty over Golan Heights and the deal of the century and eventually designation of Iran’s IRGC in the terrorist list.”
According the statement by the world forum the ‘lunatic decision’ for blacklisting of Iran’s IRGC violates all international resolutions banning interference in sovereignty of the countries denying the identity of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps which is formed from within the Iranian nation to safeguard Islamic revolution achievements.
“The world is fully aware of the IRGC key role in cooperation with the resistance forces in the region and fighting terrorism” added another part of the statement hailing achievements of the Guards Corps in withdrawal of Daesh terrorists from Iraq and Syria.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought highlighted the role of US and its allies in the Middle East region in bloodshed and crimes committed in Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Yemen and Afghanistn.
