Board member of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly warns against the policy of the United States who pretends to side with the people in a bid to bring his own agents to power.
Hujjatul Islam Mohsen Araki, member of the Supreme board of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly elaborated on the hurdles and solutions for awakening of the Muslim world saying that the move had an Islamic identity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
"The reason for the people's opposition with [former Egyptian president Hosni] Mubarak was his anti Islamic policies and his most important anti Islamic policy was his association with the arrogant powers without the least attention to the Islamic identity of the people," said the cleric.
Former member of the assembly of experts said, "The major motivation of the people in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya has an Islamic nature," and added that, "Today the people in these countries are brave enough to free themselves from the chains of the former oppressive regime."
He also said that the most important tool for the former rulers had been provoking horror among people hence when fear collapses in people, the glory of the dictators collapsed, too.
Iranian cleric warned against the new policy of the western countries and said, "Now that the paper puppets of Arab dictators are collapsing, the United States and its allies are following a new policy which is the policy of treachery and bypassing the uprising of the people."
About the most important solution for maintaining Islamic awakening among people, he counted Islamic identity as the most important tool and that the relation between people and the Islamic movement has to be boosted.
