Persian version of the book on challenges and opportunities of Muslim citizens in non-Muslim western countries has been published in Iran shedding more light on the lifestyle, role and challenges of Muslim minorities in the western countries.

“Active Muslim Citizenship in the West” is the title for the book co-authored by Mario Peucker and Shahram Akbarzadeh published by international al-Hoda cultural institute, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
History of establishment of Muslims in the west, socio-economic situation and population of Muslims, multicultural diversity and facts, concepts and reactions are among the chapters in this book.

 
The prelude to the book opens with,” Massive number of Muslims migrated to the west following the World War II, a fact that has led to numerous unanticipated challenges for Muslims new to the western ambiance.”
 
The authors referred to a number of the short-term challenges including some individual and social issues naming accommodation and employment while other complicated challenges regarding the future prospects of Muslims including prospects of a bright future as first class citizens for them.
