The first art exhibition in post-Daesh era includes paintings which show horrible instances under the Takfiri terrorist group in the Royal Venue of Mosul Museum restored after collapse by Daeshi members.
Fat’hi, Iraqi artist participating the event, refrains recalling the days spent in dread and threat of the Daeshi terrorists saying, ”It was concern for our children which made us to resist thoughts of suicide.”
Ahmad Mozahem, another artist attending the exhibition, called the 40 pictures he painted in pencil under Daesh as his most valuable assets.
The paintings picture the sufferings of the artist and his family during Daesh invasion.
“Daesh terrorists razed not only our city but something deep inside us, our spirit” he said.
