Islamic unity, Shia Sunni solidarity against shared enemy
Islamic solidarity does not translate to receding from ones denomination but to unify Shia and Sunni against their common enemies.

Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, director of Imam Khomeini (RA) research institute in his weekly ethics class urged Muslims to unanimously array against their shared enemies stressing that solidarity does not translate to withdrawal from ones religious ideologies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to the different Islamic denominations and said,” There are enemies hostile to religious beliefs and worshipping Almighty God due to their pursuit of interests.”
“Common sense calls people with shared enemies, those opposing bases of Islam, to array in the same line and protect the holy religion” noted the cleric.
Director of Imam Khomeini (RA) research institute stressed that major issues should be prioritized over minor problems as the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution has highlighted importance of Shia Sunni unity.
The cleric said,” Islamic solidarity does not translate to receding from ones denomination but to unify Shia and Sunni against their common enemies.”
