Internal security is the best way to stand against enemies

“Internal security is the best way to stand against enemies in Islamic society, that is why the late Imam Khomeini (RA) underscored the necessity of maintaining security at home,” the Secretary General of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly, Hujjat ul-Islam val Muslemin Mohamad Hassan Akhtari said, according to Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Praising the accomplishments of the late leader Imam Khomeini, Akhtari said “to Imam Khomeini, (RA) the best way for foiling the enemies plots was proximity among Muslims and unity in Islamic world.”

Secretary General of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly said,” Imam Khomeini underscored the necessity of unity all the time and established the fundamentals for enhancing proximity in Muslim world through efforts such as holding Friday prayers by Sunni people, unity seminars and inviting scholars from different parts of Iran.”

“The idea of unity has been proposed for the first time in Iran and its conference held for the first time in this country,” the cleric said.

“Holding seminars and Muslims gatherings in Lebanon is one of the other examples of making unity in Islamic world,” Hujjat ul-Islam Akhtari said and underlined,” Lebanon was one of the counties where its scholars visited Imam Khomeini and voiced their support for him.”

Secretary General of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly expressed, “Fortunately today many Sunni scholars in different counties are interested in Imam Khomeini (RA) and Islamic revolution.”

“They follow Imam Khomeini’s idea as the best practical way for making proximity and unity in Islamic world,” he added.
