London-based human rights group demanded release of prominent Bahraini activist following his tweet message which led to his detention.

Based in the British capital, Index On Censorship, rights group promoting freedom of expression has called on Al-Kalifa regime for unconditional release of Nabeel Rajab, prominent Bahraini activist who has been in detention over a tweet message on Yemen war, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The group has denounced the detention of Bahraini activist and protested his arrest by the security forces in the country over a tweeter message.
 
Bahraini court is to hold his trial on 31st December.
 
Following a tweeter message by Bahraini dissent stressing necessity of peace in Yemen and probe into the atrocities on the impoverished Arab country, Al Kalifa regime forces have arrested Nabeel Rajab.
 
Bahraini high court has sentenced him to 5 years in jail.
 
Nabeel Rajab is an opposition leader and a renowned activist for his criticism of Al Kalifa regime.
