MP lauds Iran technological, scientific gains

An Iranian MP said “that the religious beliefs and the resistance of Iranian nation have led the country to cross the boundaries of technologies and gain self-sufficiency.

At a meeting with Malaysian deputy speaker , top Iranian MP Mohammad-Hassan Abutorabi fard has pointed to the cultural and religious bonds between the Muslim nation of Iran and Malaysia and said” the promotion of political, economic and cultural relations is a prelude to strengthen ties between the two nations.” 

Abutorabi has highlighted the need for convergence among Muslim nations in regional and international arenas, stipulating that the common stance taken by the two nations on international developments has contributed to the continuous relations between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur, and measures should be taken to promote the role of Islamic nations in international interactions. 

Abutorabi also pointed to the pressures and aggressions of the world arrogance against the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic and said “resistance of the Iranian nation has aborted the conspiracies of the enemies and promoted Iran’s scientific stature. 

Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has termed Iran as a country with a long history and said “the Malaysian parliament and government underline expending ties with Islamic countries, specifically the Islamic Republic of Iran.” 

He stressed the role played by the parliament to cement bilateral cooperation and said,” the exchange of political and parliamentary delegations between Malaysia and the Islamic Republic can play an essential role in boosting ties between the two countries.
