Iranian top cleric and cultural advisor of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran vows to honor the family of unity martyrs.

Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, head of the world Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought clarifies the plans for the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, announcing that honoring the family of Shia-Sunni unity martyrs including General Noorali Shooshtari, Mamusta Borhan Ali and Mamusta Sheikhol Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Appointed as the head of the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Committee for Islamic Revolution Anniversary Ceremonies, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri divided the activities of the committee into internal and external areas.

"The internal part of the plans comprises opening the new branch of Islamic schools of Thought University in the western city of Sanandaj, carrying out the preliminary steps for opening another branch of the university in Zahedan, launching the PhD course of Islamic Fiq'h and Principles in Tehran branch of the Islamic Schools of Thought University", the ayatollah said.

He also referred to the meeting and honoring of families of Shia and Sunni martyrs in seven major Provinces of Khorasan, Sistan and Balouchestan, Hormozgan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Golestan and Boushehr.

In the same line this Iranian senior cleric vowed to hail the martyrs of unity and referred to the Conference of Shia- Sunni clerics which are to be held in the border cities of Iran.

He pointed to the speeches, to be delivered with the theme of the Islamic Revolution, Qur'an and household of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to be delivered on February 4 and the Islamic Revolution, Independence, Freedom and the Islamic Republic to be delivered on February 11.

Honoring the supporters of Islamic denominations in the border towns and holding book exhibitions are some other plans of the committee for the coming ceremonies of Islamic Revolution anniversary.

A prominent point referred to by Iranian top cleric was participation of the Sunnis in February 11 rally and counted supporting 23 PhD dissertations and MA thesis with the title of unity and Islamic Revolution.

Attending the international book fair of Afghanistan, sending books and charters of the forum to different centers around the world and publication of ten books with the theme of proximity and Islamic unity in Arabic, Turkish, Persian and English comprise some other plans on the agenda of the committee.

Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri also counted some other measures of the committee as: Inviting 20 Shia and Sunni clerics from India on the eve of the Islamic Revolution anniversary, holding the 24th international conference of Islamic unity in mid February, launching the English language department of Taqrib News Agency (TNA) and increasing the languages of the cultural site to 16.
