The Israeli occupation army arrested 2,187 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank between January and August 2018, Quds Press reported.

According to the site, an Israeli military source told the Israeli news website 0404, “the Israeli army confiscated four Palestinian lathes [factory tools], 25 vehicles and 120,000 shekels ($35,000) during the same period.”
The website, which is close to the Israeli army, said occupation forces arrested 184 Palestinians in September, confiscated two lathes, 48,000 shekels ($13,000) and three vehicles.
Yesterday, occupation forces announced the detention of 19 Palestinians, claiming they were wanted due to their anti-occupation activities.
Israeli occupation forces carry out daily detention campaigns that include damaging property, stealing money and jewelry and beating old people and women when they try to prevent the detention of their sons.
Last month, Israeli occupation forces “severely” beat Palestinian Muhammad Al-Khatib when they raided his home. He died as a result of the attack.
