Ardakanie lauds telling role of Palestine in World of Islam

Addressing the 2nd edition of International Conference on 'Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Adolescents', Nazem Ardakanie hailed the significant role of Palestine in the World of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Placing stress on the stance taken by the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought regarding the issue of Palestine, Ardakanie stressed, "Through various ways, the World Forum sides with Palestinian nation against the regime of Zionism."

"Iran top unity center has released a statement and slammed Israel's atrocities, expressing anger at the relocation of the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds," pointed out the religious thinker.

Ardakanie went on to note, "this year also Iran's unity center marked the 70th anniversary of Nakba (Catastrophe Day) by mounting a summit in Lebanon in the presence of prominent religious thinkers and elite across the world of Islam."

Attended by a number of prominent religious, cultural and political figures, the 2nd edition of International Conference on Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Adolescents was held in Iranian Capital city of Tehran.

The participants voiced their concern over Palestine crisis noting they stand by Palestinian children and adolescents; they urge people worldwide not to fall silent against the crimes perpetrated by the regime of Zionism.
