Pakistan’s Quetta conference stresses Muslim solidarity

Attended by Pakistani and Iranian cultural and religious figures, proximity meeting in Pakistan’s Quetta stresses unity among all Muslims.


Prominent figures, religious and cultural elites from Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan have attended international meeting on Islamic proximity in Quetta to stress necessity of boosting Islamic unity amid surge of attacks against Muslims across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The ceremony was attended by Mahdi Honardoust, Iran’s ambassador to Quetta, Rafiee the general council and Kourosh Aghdaee, director of Iran’s cultural center.
 
Kourosh Aghdaee expressed regret over the killing of hundreds of Muslims in Quetta during the past recent years and reiterated necessity of boosting unity among Muslims.
 
Religious and cultural figures in this ceremony made short comments on message of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, solidarity of Muslims and cultural commonalities.
 
Iran’s ambassador noted,” If enemies are awake and plotting our friends are also vigil and struggling to prevent dispersion” and added,” Iran’s message highlights unity as it should turn into our constant effort.”
