6 Oct 2018 - 16:41

Lebanese clerics across the country rejected the US and Zionist regime ineffective threats against Iran and the resistance.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah, prayer leader of Harik district in Beirut, in his Friday sermon rejected the speech made by Israeli Prime Minister in UN General Assembly saying to use UN tribune for his remarks was an effort to recognize Israeli threats which was a maiden move, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” It is not the first time that Netanyahu is challenging Lebanon with war threats” and added,” Zionist regime is not in a position to materialize its threats.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Ali Da’moush, deputy of Hezbollah executive council, in his sermon stressed,” An objective of the Zionist regime in threatening the resistance and the statements it publishes in media is to provoke and frightening Lebanese people against the resistance movement and also stir world countries to impose pressure against Hezbollah.

The cleric noted,” It is high time Saudi Arabia noted talks with Iran, Syria and regional countries and also ending support for terrorist groups was the solution to issues and that to turn into a power in the region was achieved through unity and understanding between other countries in the region and not depending upon the US and Israel.”

Sheikh Sohaib Habli, prayer leader of Sidon called the Zionist regime incapable of attacking Lebanon since it will have to pay a heavy toll for that.”
