Cleric hails education of thousands of women in Iran seminaries

Manager of Iran seminaries has called the education of women in Islamic studies as a new experience in the world of Islam and said the result of that will be training a huge generation of elite women.

Ayatollah Alireza A’rafi, manager of Iranian seminaries, met with Russian students of Islamic thoughts calling Iran’s holy city of Qom as a hub of knowledge which produces and sends Islamic thoughts to the whole world, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric highlighted features of Qom as a hub of knowledge in comparison with other scientific centers in the world of Islam and said promotion of Islamic studies had begun in Qom.
 
He called development of humanities and social sciences as another feature of seminaries and lauded the noticeable achievements made in this field.
 
“To promote pro-civilization and international approach of Qom seminary are the other noticeable aspects” said the scholar and added,” Al-Mustafa International University is the international wing for Qom Seminary and the sole scientific institution in the world of Islam which admits scholars from all Islamic denominations building close relations with other religious schools across the globe.”
 
According to the cleric the latest technological and scientific achievements of the world are hired in the holy city of Qom and several projects in artificial intelligence are hired to promote Islamic studies.
