Indonesian capital of Jakarta is scheduled to host international conference on Halal Lifestyle in early October 2018 in line with promoting Halal industry for yet growing population of Muslims across the globe.

Bank Indonesia (BI) and center for Halal lifestyle in the capital Jakarta will jointly host international Halal Lifestyle Conference and business forum in Jakarta Convention Center on October 3-5, 2018, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Sharia finance director at Bank Indonesia, Anwar Bashori, announced that regarding the growing capacities of global Halal market, the three-day event would bring opportunity for Indonesia to turn to the major Halal producer across the world.
 
Chief of Indonesia’s Halal Lifestyle Center, Sapta Nirwandar said the country needed to boost its Halal industry via measures including a supportive Halal industry ecosystem, drafting regulation and effective promotion.
 
Although Halal lifestyle is mainly maintained by Muslim communities, non Muslims have joined the former in following a lifestyle which is a considered one which affords people the subconscious self-awareness of hygiene and health.
 
As the word Halal literally means ‘permissible’ mainly used in reference to food and drink other aspects of life including health, tourism and finance.
 
The second largest religion in the world, Halal product market is expected to grow to over 58.3 billion by 2022.
