Turkey hails proximity endeavors by Iranian religious academy
Prominent Iranian cleric has met with head of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs exchanging discussing proximity activities in Iran.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, head of the University of Islamic Denominations (UID) met with Ali Erbas, head of the Turkish organization for religious affairs in its headquarter explaining religious and educational activities in the Iranian academy, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Head of Turkey’s Religious Affairs directorate in this meeting held the proximity endeavors of Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari.
He highlighted the historical, cultural and religious relations as key potentialities for mutual cooperation particularly in terms of scientific and academic interactions between Iran and Turkey
Turkish figure called academic cooperation a key capability for both countries referring to student and professor exchange programs and advantage which should be benefited.
Ali Erbas noted 100 theology universities and faculties which could make proper academic partner for Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari related on multi-national admission, studying programs, expanding branches of UID at home and international arena and also inking cooperation agreements with over 10 countries as part of activities carried out at the Iranian religious university.
Iran’s major religious academy is active in line with boosting Shia Sunni solidarity both at home and in the international arena.
Based on religious principles and Islamic proximity and maintaining the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), University of Islamic Denominations (UID) has been training Shia and Sunni scholars in an ambiance of coexistence and friendship.
