Cleric raps governments averting Islamic unity

A prominent Iranian cleric hailed the annual Hajj ritual as a pillar of Islam and a ground for boosting unity among different Islamic denominations.


Mamusta Mostafa Mahmoudi, prayer leader of the Sunni community in Piranshahr, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) highlighted the high capacities of Hajj pilgrimage to strengthen fraternal ties between Muslims from across the globe and slammed some Arab governments over hindering paths which boost Islamic solidarity.
 
He called Hajj as a massive congregation when Muslims can array against anti-Islamic fronts and unite in their prayers in the same language.
 
Iranian Sunni scholar said,” Hajj brings glory of Muslims and hinders the colonial powers to undermine Islamic culture or dominate them.”

 
Member of the programming council of religious schools in Piranshahr called Muslim pilgrims to maintain their solidarity and take back the idea to their countries.
 
“What empowers and honors Islam is that Muslims join each other” he said and praised the unified stance of Iranian ethnicities against enemies, a solidarity grown due to the jurisprudent.
 
Iranian Sunni scholar reiterated importance of Hajj for confrontation against enemies and said,” Hajj brings particular honor for Muslims since once the Muslim nation makes the slightest move no global power can stop it.”
