Boosting religious fraternity, Islamic unity in Hajj

As the annual Hajj pilgrimage approaches Muslims from across the globe make the best of the opportunity to meet and boost their religious ties with pilgrims from other countries.
 
Akhoond Galdi Kamali, from the fatwa council of the Sunni community in Iran’s Northern Khorasan Province counted religious fraternity and Islamic unity as two blessings of Hajj pilgrimage, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He called Muslims to maintain the rituals, special conditions and prayers recommended during the major Islamic pilgrimage.
 
Nearly 10 percent of the population in Northern Khorasan Province is Sunni Muslims who has sent a group of pilgrims to Mecca.
 
Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam performed during Dhul-Hajjah, 12th month in Muslim lunar calendar as the ritual is completed in a course of five days.
 
Hajj 2018 will commence on Sunday, 19th of August 2018 and will continue till Friday, 24th of August 2018. This is the tentative date as the actual date is contingent on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah.
 
Every year, millions Muslims participate in this greatest Islamic congregation in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
